Dr. Rutledge is a calm, compassionate, highly intelligent and skilled veterinarian. He explains everything medical in a comprehensive manner. We have unconditional faith in him and feel blessed to have him as our veterinarian. Our dogs have received incredible care at Cherry Ridge Veterinary Clinic from all staff, and especially from Dr. Rutledge, Dr. Trayes and Lindsay (technician). My husband has been with this veterinary clinic for more than 20 years!I recommend Cherry Ridge Veterinary Clinic to everyone I know who has a beloved pet (s). Our eldest dog recently had to have an eyelid growth/mass removed and dental cleaning (due to gingival hyperplasia). Dr. Rutledge removed the eye growth without need for even 1 suture and our dog s teeth are sparkling clean! I always feel confident when I have to leave either dog for a procedure (e.g. neutering, dental cleaning,) because I know & appreciate the good compassionate care that they will receive. Dr.Ostrander was awesome and the assistant Gina was so patient and pleasant.Loved that I was able to receive an appointment on the same day I called. I found a stray kitten about 4 weeks old with an eye infection.The drops worked great and we are still looking for a home for this little guy if you know of anyone? EVERYONE is/was lovely! Yes, the tech explained everything to us and was super sweet. The Doc was a lovely young woman&explained&answered all of our questions. Would recommend to anyone with pets. Enjoyed my time there! Was even late, because I took a wrong turn and called and even tho she was unable to direct us in, was super sweet about my bad sense of direction, and put us in a few mins late...even tho we only waited a few more minutes. Wasnt bad&didn t make me feel stupid for wrong turns! Like all of them! Looking forward to seeing them again in 2weeks...also, understanding about the expense and getting paid&trying to pay for expensive puppy shots! Nice nice people! They deserve raises!
