I came back here from Middletown because I knew I would receive superior service and I knew we needed it. The doctor was sure to explain the conditions thoroughly and answer all my questions. She even took my call a couple days later to answer follow up questions. Five star ratings all around. Honestly my cat wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for Windcrest Animal Hospital and I am forever grateful for that. Thank you!!!

I was disappointed as I made an appt for a specific day and time to see the vet of my choice as that doctor has experience with my pet. When I arrived I was told I was seeing a different vet with no explanation. I can understand and appreciate this is a multi-doctor practice , but in this case I wanted a specific provider and was not with the person I expected.

The technician did a wonderful job with my pet (who does not do well being handled at the vet office.) Technician was skilled and patient with my pet. I know that you stick to the AAHA prices even when only a very cursory physical exam can be done, but I would suggest doing a little something extra or at least spending more time palpating pet, taking a closer look, and explaining to client what you are examining. A client who doesn t know better might be blown away when they see the exam fee and feel that you haven t even examined their pet because of its fractious nature.

My Rusty has had one Vet for his entire life but due to a move to DE and as he moves into his later years we have found an outstanding Vet in Dr. Dawkins and her staff. Very happy and satisfied!

The staff called me the day before Brownies surgery, about 1130am, and reminded me to not feed her after midnight. Her surgery went well and they to us what to expect over the next few days. As all pets are family members to us, their help reassured us on what to expect. AND......the staff called us the day after he surgery to see how she was feeling. Very considerate and thoughtful. We’re definitely staying with Centreville.

The staff and Dr. Mitchell are beyond excellent! We feel they are the most competent and they always spend more than enough time with us and they consistently give outstanding treatment to our two shelties. I would also add that they also answer all our questions and take plenty of time doing so. I would highly recommend Hockessin Animal Hospital.

We felt our dog s medical history was not adequately reviewed before Dr Cassidy made decisions about his care. For example she was not aware he never received a lepto booster until we brought it up. It seems like a simple page through of our dog s medical history would have informed her of that, because the original lepto shot was done at Windcrest within the last year and we brought our dog in for a liver issue. We really appreciated how the technician Ben handled our dog.

Excellent service. Dr Anthony was wonderful along with staff. We have had several major pet incidents for acl and other issues and locally Hockessin was excellent Great job quick and stayed within projected estimate for costs. Didn’t do unnecessary tests and stuff. Thank you

I was not told I would need to sedate my cat before grooming. I brought in the medication and was told I was supposed to have given it to him earlier. It would have been nice if I would have been told that prior to this first appointment or if they would have assisted me giving it to him considering his actual appointment was not for another hour (I was told he needed to take it 30 mins prior). He was unable to be groomed bc of his stress levels.

Both my cats go to either Talleyville Vet or Windcrest. The staff is always wonderful. All of the phsycians and techs we have encountered are thorough and attentive. We absolutely would be lost without Dr.Cassidy. I always recommend this practice to anyone looking for a wonderful place to take their pets.

During my last visit,it was not explained properly that I had to pay for the boosters.. I was under the assumption that the fecal test and booster shots were all paid for ahead of time, hence the $580.00 bill. Today I found out that I still had to pay for both boosters and the technician, but the fecal was in fact paid ahead of time and removed from the bill. Please explain this to customers during their visits more carefully.

My visit was to get the 2nd booster of my dog s influenza and Bordatella vaccinations. The appointment took all of 3 minutes, so I was disappointed to learn that I was charged for something like a Technician Exam (I don t have the bill in front of me right now, for the exact phrase). The technician certainly did not give my pet an exam in 3 minutes (during which time she also would have had to administer 2 shots) and we were just charged 2 weeks prior to that for an exam. It just feels like we get nickel-and-dimed at every visit and that the office is just in it to make money off of people. Especially since the vaccinations themselves were more expensive than in prior years because all of a sudden this year we had to get a new format - this double shot aka DOUBLE the chances for you guys to charge us for something.
