I have no complaints about the appointment. However, I do have one overall comment. This is the third time (admittedly in 14 years) where I have had to bring in a pet for a follow up appointment for things that were apparent on the yearly maintenance visits. The first time was with Anna, who had terrible teeth problems that no one told me about when I brought her in for her check ups. The second time was with Flip, who tested positive for Lyme disease, but no one followed up with me so we didn t know until he started showing symptoms. This last time, with Magic, she had high levels of whatever it was that shows kidney problems, but no one ever recommended a special diet until Dr. Trisch saw her on Saturday. Additionally, it must have been apparent at the last check up that she had problems with her teeth and polyps in her ears, yet no one mentioned it until I brought her in saying that I thought something was wrong with her mouth. We ve been with you for 14 years now, and overall the care has been great, but I feel that we need to hear about these issues when we bring our animals in for their check up and not once they get bad enough to require an extra visit. Missing the positive Lyme disease test was so careless - Flip needn t have been in pain for even one day if you had only told us when the test came back positive. Terri Crocker

Dr. Weekly came to the farm for a procedure on one of our rams. He was great with the animal and showed my kids exactly what he was doing. He is a great vet and a caring person. We are so pleased with the care we get for both the house dogs and the livestock. Thank you again!

We are so grateful to have found this practice! Dr. Weakly came out to our home with a wonderful vet tech and trimmed our mini-pig s hooves. Hoof trimming has always been a nightmare for us and it s hard to get her transported to the office. Maisy feels so much better and we are SO appreciative for the outstanding service!!

Excellent care. We saw a vet we hadn t seen before and he was kind, courteous, and very willing to listen to my concerns/addressed them accordingly. I appreciate the kindness and patience when you work with my geriatric dog.

Dr. Tritsch was so caring and spent a lot of time explaining what was going on with my little dog and what to look for, even told me to call him in 2 days to let him know how she was doing, or call him at home if I needed anything. Everyone was absolutely fabulous. My poor little kitty got scared and peed on herself, and they made sure to take great care of her and clean her, and her sister. They took the extra steps to figure out why my one kitty was peeing so much, and it turns out she had a very bad UTI. The only mistake made was to little medicine, but they are fixing the issue free of charge! Thank you for the amazing work you do!

My experience with CKVC was great. The staff are always friendly, and they were very supportive when explaining procedures and possible circumstances about my cat. Thank you for taking great care of Sylas and being so compassionate with me.

we were a bit concerned when you moved. This new office is wonderful. Cats and Dogs separation works very well. As always the staff, is remarkable kind big smiles and always willing to do anything that they can to make the appointment enjoyable. Hats off to your staff both in the lobby and in the back.

Only a comment not a suggestion. Dr. Tritsch and staff always go above and beyond the call of duty. Even though visits are made stressful by our two shaking Irish Black and Tans, everything is done to make them (and which ever of the two of us bring them in) relaxed and comfortable. The level of knowledge and caring is beyond compare. When I (the wife) left Canada for Kentucky I left behind a Vet who was/is my very good friend and riding companion. I thought I would never find anyone to compare to my friend and I was swiftly proven wrong. Thank you Dr. Tritsch and everyone at Central Kentucky Veterinary Center.

I went twice in one week the first time I went I had a scheduled appointment and did not get seen for almost an hour after the time. The Dr was apologetic and so good it wasn t to painful but just would like my time to be appreciated too

We have seen Dr. Kirkland several times. We ve had a great experience. She explains things thoroughly and is great with our dogs. The staff are awesome too.

I thought that there was more cat and dog hair floating around eovery where this visit. Also there was dog urine in the waiting area that hadn t been cleaned up yet.

CKVC provides excellent and affordable veterinary care. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I loved getting a text telling me when the procedure was done and that she was doing well. The vet popped his head into the room the morning of my dog s procedure and said Hi but did not introduce himself.

not given rabies tag at appointment time and was not offered nasal bordatello at appt. Went over to CK pet resort to schedule a boarding stay and was asked about nasal boradatello and so had to go back to clinic to have it administered and pick up rabies tag. Cost of rabies vaccination was also not on initial appt bill. Paid for it when the nasal boradtello was given on second visit that day. Staff was very apologetic and helpful.
