An error was made by the tech who provided a full can of food to Jake when he was inpatient for GI issues that included vomiting after eating. He had been given anti-nausea meds after all labs came back normal and was allowed to have some food. He should have been introduced to food slowly and in small quantities. Not only did this cause additional GI upset and stress for Jake, but this error may have resulted in additional charges for xrays to then investigate a potential blockage as he vomited immediately after aggressively eating because he had an empty stomach for 24 hrs. I had to negotiate a price reduction when I was told about this incident instead of it being offered up front. That was the only part of this visit I was disappointed in. Staff and vet all very kind and attentive otherwise. Happy to report that Jake is doing fine and whatever GI issue he had is now resolved.

Dr. Nick is so comassionate. He was in surgery all day and was ab to put our dog into his schedule. Dr. Nick is always upbeat and ALWAYS a pleasure to work with.

Every visit with Dr.Kelly and Anna is always perfect. I never feel rushed. All of my billions of questions and concerns are always answered and explained thoroughly. Most importantly, it is obvious that they love what they do and adore and love their patients which means the world to me and my furbabies.

The vets were very pushy to do surgery and chemo as soon as possible. They were telling me this is the best option for my dog. 4 hours later I got a call from the vet telling me the exact opposite of what she had said earlier after talking with other vets. I felt it was almost like a salesman pushing me to buy something that moment. I am having a hard time trusting their judgement when they change their minds and tell me different things after being addimate of one option durin the appointment. I questioned had they done this before and she laughed and said no but she could follow others directions on how to proceed. I have been super happy with Pewaukee vet services till this past week. Now I feel some of the vets are just trying to sell certain options to get money... I am deeply hurt one moment my dogs heart is perfect and good for surgery the next she goes back to her previous opinion and her heart is not strong enough... if a vet is unsure or has not done treatments be honest with the pet owners and tell us you will look into it and get other opinions. Don’t just guess at it then change your mind.

The doctors and the staff are so nice and take such great care of our pets we would never go anywhere else. Thank you! :)

Thought appt was just a follow up; didn t expect another $200 after the $400 two weeks ago. For an ear infection and starting an injection for allergies. Was told injection would be equivalent to oral meds in cost because with oral, more testing is needed. So I did not expect this at all. Will be looking for another vet.

Dr. Baker did a great job explaining and going over each surgery for my dogs torn ACL. He really took the time and made sure I understood everything. He was very knowledgeable and very nice!

I would pay any price if the drs made housecalls. Going to the vet terrifies my cats. It would be worth it to not put them through that stress.

We adopted a dog from Elmbrook shelter and she was very shy with her first visit there - your staff worked really hard to make her more comfortable and Dr. Lisa was gentle and patient with her. We appreciate that since we are working to gain her confidence and trust.

Dr. Carolyn is an incredibly skilled and compassionate veterinarian. She is also a great educator who took her time explaining our pet’s injury and the treatment options available.
