The doctor was kind and informative, but it was difficult to understand him, quite a bit of the time, due to his foreign accent. I believe the wait time to receive my bill was excessive... should take no longer than 10 minutes, ideally. When I arrived on time for my appointment, I did not have to wait very long to see the doc, which was great! Next time I would propbably have the doc see my pets separately, as I found a thorough exam was provided to one, rather than oth of my pets... that could have arisen because they both look alike and are quite young and skittish, rather thanany negligence on the doctor s part.

Didn t really like waiting for my rabbits meds with the rabbit in the waiting room with 10 dogs in the room when he was already stressed as it was. Otherwise, all fine.

I want to thank everyone who was at Torbay Rd Animal Hospital when Sadie and I came in. I know one of the receptionists name was Pam, but I m unsure of the other two. They were so kind to Sadie who was in for a bite wound, and even brought her out a pad and blanket to lay on where we had a long wait (she was a walk in and there was an emergency come in). Dr Ryan seen her and she is always so kind and easy to talk to (she sees our permanent foster dog Finn as well). We will never go anywhere else. We always have a great experience. Thank you!

Your staff are helpful and caring. Two suggestions for your great,busy practice that would secure my loyalty: - allow on line appts for routine appts/check ups. Phone is often busy and I am rarely available for phone calls and do not check phone mail. My other service providers use texts or emails to remind me. - reduce the delay in getting meds and/or paying after seeing Dr Erin, who is fabulous and well respects the informed puppy/dog owner. This was my first visit since 2015 as my previous dog passed away in 2015 so I had forgotten about these bothersome service issues.

I would like to comment that I didn t appreciate being put in the position of deciding about extra charges for IV drip and lazer therapy. It makes you feel that you are being conned into paying extra for unnecessary procedures. I like to assume that we are doing what you would do for your own pet, so if IV drip is recommended to enhance recovery from anasthetic so be it. You don t want to feel like you are being sold something you don t need and being a terrible pet owner if you choose not to...

I felt like the take home instructions were very rushed. I didn t get to speak with a vet to go over my dogs bloodwork or surgery . I understand the surgery is routine but it is stressful as an owner. I wasn t really explained what is normal after surgery and what isn t in regards to his behaviour.

Myself and my husband have taken our dogs to Sunrise for years as the primary medical care giver. For the last several years we have specifically requested they see Dr. Dobbin (and have referred her to several of our friends). She is very friendly, compassionate and thorough when examining our dogs.

Daisy had an excellent first experience at Sunrise for her 12 week needle. Dr. Erin Wilson is an awesome vet...very knowledgable and went above and beyond by staying after her shift when she knew that we would have to return to the vet...very professional.

So impressed with the doctor! He checked every inch of my pet! He showed a very genuine concern and affection for her. He listened to us and did not rush us out. He was kind and very warm with Nikita! He made the experience very special. The clinic was exceptionally clean and the front desk staff were very prompt and attentive. There was no wait whatsoever! Will definitely be back!
