I totally appreciate your convenient office hours & the helpfulness of your office staff. Going to an after hours vet can be a huge deterrent to having a pet for many folks. Thank you.

Too expensive

I was quoted $1700 and explained I was not able to pay that amount. They do not work with payment plans but everything they went out of the room and returned it was a higher estimate and telling me well if we don t do this and you can t pay your dog will die. I am 7 months pregnant and this was emotionally traumatizing.they said you can call family and friends for help. My mom was fortunately able to help me. My dog was supposed to get an emergency spay with abx and fluids but instead got her bladder cut open because the uterus wasn t the problem thr bladder was enlarged and I was told we went ahead and spayed her in case it was hormonal. This cause the bill to increase even further by the end the $1400 estimate that I signed cost me $2300. I told them that was way over what I was able to borrow from my mom the response from the vet was oh I thought the limit was $2300 ...where did she get that number from? I was quoted $1700 then signed an estimate for $1400 never discussed $2300 And was not called when they decided the bladder needed to be cut open communication was poor and I was expected to return the next day and pay another possible $250.

Dr Slough and staff are amazing!!

Love, love, love Dr. Loter! Wish some things were a bit cheaper but Dr. Loter was conservative on the blood tests we ran. I feel I can always trust her to have my pet s best needs in mind. When she has felt strongly with my other pet that a test is needed, I know it is needed.

Dr. Slough is the kindest, most passionate and caring veterinarian we have ever met. He takes the time to answer questions, does not rush through exams and patiently answers questions. We are grateful to be under his care with our little pack!

We have used Wsvh since they opened. We have taken 3 dogs and 5 cats there. They have provided the highest level of care! We would not go anywhere else!!!

Was never offered the proheart shot when it clearly shows on my receipt my pet was overdue. Instead no shot and had to change to simparaco trio. Was told to finish that prescription and come back for the shot. What an inconvenience. I will be looking for a new office. Was very upset with the appointment

Dr. Louder is amazingly kind and very knowledgeable of our pets and their needs. She has a very practical approach to caring for animals as well. The staff is friendly and very helpful with checking in / out as well as answering questions and checking on our pets when we board!`

We love WSVH

I brought in my 10 week old puppy for his first visit. He had previously had his first series of vaccinations. The mat on the exam table was cracked with interior cushioning exposed. It could not have possibly been sanitized and my puppy tried to chew on some of the cracked cover The vet tech came to take a picture and placed my puppy on the floor. Again, how sanitary was that.

The entire staff here is fantastic. They love our pups as much as we do, and make sure they are well cared for. They are all so happy to see them when they come in for a visit, or boarding. Our pups love them, too! We would not take them anywhere else.

You treat our babies as if they were your own!
