Both my cats go to either Talleyville Vet or Windcrest. The staff is always wonderful. All of the phsycians and techs we have encountered are thorough and attentive. We absolutely would be lost without Dr.Cassidy. I always recommend this practice to anyone looking for a wonderful place to take their pets.

During my last visit,it was not explained properly that I had to pay for the boosters.. I was under the assumption that the fecal test and booster shots were all paid for ahead of time, hence the $580.00 bill. Today I found out that I still had to pay for both boosters and the technician, but the fecal was in fact paid ahead of time and removed from the bill. Please explain this to customers during their visits more carefully.

My visit was to get the 2nd booster of my dog s influenza and Bordatella vaccinations. The appointment took all of 3 minutes, so I was disappointed to learn that I was charged for something like a Technician Exam (I don t have the bill in front of me right now, for the exact phrase). The technician certainly did not give my pet an exam in 3 minutes (during which time she also would have had to administer 2 shots) and we were just charged 2 weeks prior to that for an exam. It just feels like we get nickel-and-dimed at every visit and that the office is just in it to make money off of people. Especially since the vaccinations themselves were more expensive than in prior years because all of a sudden this year we had to get a new format - this double shot aka DOUBLE the chances for you guys to charge us for something.

My cat was sick and Dr. Anthony was able to see me on Friday when I called. However, the appointment was booked in Hockessin, even though I had only ever been to Windcrest. I went to Hockessin, but I wish I had known that before I drove in the other direction to Windcrest. Also, when I got the medicine from the vet tech, it was a liquid. I can t manage to hold my cat, open her mouth and spurt the liquid medicine. I wish I had been asked if my cat would be able to take (or me give) liquid medicine versus a pill that I could put in a pill pocket. Consequently, I haven t been able to give my cat the proper amount of medicine and she is still sick.

I would suggest that the call center and the Lancaster location double check the schedule prior to telling patient to come to a certain location. I had called one location that I wanted to go to scheduled the appointment same day and the staff was super friendly. I realized there are several locations so I called again to confirm I was going to the particular location I wanted and when I arrived at the clinic they told me I was in the wrong place. Wasn’t too frustrated because it happens. The staff were nice gave me the address to the correct clinic for me to go. Turns out that was the wrong address and I had to call for the third time about one appointment. Kinda turned me off, was very irritated when coming in for the appointment but after talking to the vet and techs I was very pleased. Just tripe checke schedules (:

On Wednesday, I tried using the online scheduling system first, but I couldn t get an appointment for my sick cat for two days later, Friday at 10:00. Although I did reserve that appointment, I called the office just to see if I could get my cat in earlier. I got an appointment that was in 40 minutes. Not sure why the online scheduling system did not allow me to do that. Just thought you might want to know that the online system isn t that useful yet.

We have been sending our dogs here for years. Our dogs go willingly and are not afraid. My one suggestion would be to give a discount to frequent borders. We board are dogs about seven weeks a year there.
