I really appreciate the time Dr. Werkiser took (on a Saturday) to speak with me on the phone about my dog’s health concerns and the options for moving forward in further testing. She was very thorough, patient, and answered all of my questions. I am so grateful for her consideration and forethought in figuring this out with me.

We have used Wilmington Animal Hospital for all our dogs over many years. Dr. Epstein is missed. I so wish the kennel would become available again. We had to use another facility and it was very disappointing. Our dog was returned dirty, goopy eyes and dehydrated. NEVER had a bad experience with Wilm. Animal Hospital. Thank you.

We have been taking our dog for what seems like an eternity to have a skin infection treated. I wish we had come across Wilmington animal hospital sooner. They did a thorough exam and asked a lot of questions to help diagnose the issue. I didn’t feel rushed out the door like prior places. I appreciated that they want to follow up with us in a couple weeks instead of just throwing random meds at us and sending us on our way. Everyone was so friendly and stopped to play and pet our dog. We felt welcomed from the door with the sign welcoming us as new patients. I feel like we finally found a great place to take our dog.

Dr. Werkheiser s genuine compassion and concern is very apparent. She asks all the right questions during our visits with our three dogs. I always leave confident that my dogs are being treated by a highly competent and caring person. I recommend WAH to everyone in the area.
