I have been taking my dog Murphy and my cat Tucker to WAH for several years and I am very happy with the very kind,caring, and expert care they receive. The doctors, nurses and receptionists are wonderful!!

I ve had excellent experiences with Wilmington Animal Hospital. I actually transferred my dog s care here after I brought my cat in for what I thought would be a simple cold, but it turns out she was in liver failure and had to be put down. The compassion the staff at WAH showed me that day when I was shocked and so sad, as well as the donation that they made after the fact in my cat s name to an animal shelter, told me that I wanted to bring my dog for her visits here from now on. Thank you!

MANY THANKS to very caring staff. My pet cat escaped her carrier as I was putting into car she got up into underside of my car staff came out with towels crawled under my car and safely retrieved my Emily !!! Could have been disaster GREAT PEOPLE ??????

All the staff and Dr. Werkiser took wonderful care of Lincoln in determining treatment and next steps for his care, exactly what we needed during a stressful time.

We waited until my retirement to rescue our first family dog. We thought we would enjoy our beautiful little boy Baci for many, many years.We took Baci to Wilmington Animal Hospital because he had stopped eating and drinking. He was critical, we thought we were going to lose him. With very logical diagnostic skills, Dr. Ladman diagnosed Baci with cancer. She consulted with a specialist, and with the proper medication, he s come back to us. We may only have a few days, or weeks, or with the help of the oncologist, a few more months with our lovely little boy. We are so grateful for the expertise, kindness and love the Wilmington Animal Hospital staff have given our boy, and the additional time they have given us to love him a little longer.

the technicians were super friendly and tried to make the cats be as comfortable as possible during the visit. the cats were recently adopted and still traumatized from their stay at Petsmart facility during the adoption event. I appreciate them showing me how to clip their nails. thank you.

I brought my dog in, within 30 minutes of closing time, after she d been attacked by another dog. The staff took the time to clean her up and wrap her wound even though they could not perform the necessary surgery. They called local emergency clinics to see if any could take her as soon as possible. Thanks to you all, I was able to get my dog to a hospital I never knew existed and her leg was surgically repaired.

Loved Dr. Bagshaw. Compassionate, professional and took plenty of time to explain the results and answer questions concerning my cats ultrasound. It was very bad news and he clearly felt bad delivering it to me. Your reception staff was friendly and accommodation. I will recommend your practice.
