Unfortunately, Gwen indeed had a foreign body, a string, anchored around the base of her tongue going down to the intestines. She had abdominal surgery on Monday and is now home recovering.

Longwood offered to see my sick kitty as a new patient since my regular vet did not have openings for weeks. The staff, technicians, nurses, and Drs took such great care of my furry one and I plan to switch to Longwood as our provider for both of our furry ones! Thank you for all that you do!

Dr. McCabe always takes her time with us, answers our questions, and does a thorough review of our cats medical information and recommendations. Dr. McCabe is caring, kind, and compassionate. She really is amazing and a role model for what a veterinarian should be!
