Dr. Carla and her staff are EXCELLENT. Professional, kind and loving - all of the characteristics you need for the care of your fur baby. Bear was very happy!

I would appreciate it if a vet recommends or orders a test that the client is told what the cost will be if it is an expensive test. For example, an ultrasound was $500 and blood work was almost $300. It is kind of a shock when paying to find out the amount at the end of the appointment. I would also like a little more give and take between vet and client in terms of what must be done at once and what can be considered for the future. The staff is really excellent, vets spend plenty of time with the dog, and there is little or no waiting time. Everyone is extra kind to the dog and very pleasant to deal with.

All of the staff at Longwood Veterinary Center are like an extended family. I never feel rushed when the dogs are there for wellness visits or sick appointments

Everyone was helpful and supportive of Theo and me. He is a very difficult patient and was treated carefully and humanely and professionally by all the staff.

Dr Freeman professional , Kind and down to earth . Plus a great Vet ! All the staff is kind and do their job well.

I do not like that they assume I want all these shots and tests done without consulting with me first. I went in for a rabies shot. That’s all I wanted done and one tick/heart worm preventative. Thirty minutes later my bill is $535 !! They first walked in and I was told that my dog didn’t need an examine because he just had one and it would save me money, but then I was charged for an examine $77, they noticed he was shaking his head so they did a swab test without even asking me if I wanted it done. That was $55. I would like if they ask before they treat.

Staff is professional, knowledgeable, and caring.

There is no other veterinarian practice I would have than Longwood taking care of my furry family members. Through 4 dogs and numerous odd maladies, Longwood has been exemplary at diagnosing, treating and being compassionate. Every staff member is obviously hand chosen as every person from front desk back to the OR has the same level of commitment to providing the best care possible. I cannot express fully what Longwood Veterinary Hospital means to our family. ??
