I was very disappointed with my 14 yr old pet s exam. At my previous provider his eyes were checked (how blind is he at 14?), his ears were checked (she just said he had alot of hair in there), his mouth was opened (I got the usual complaint @ side teeth having decay but I m not paying another $400 for his teeth). I didn t get an answer to why the tips of his ears are all crusty, his skin is black and scaly and I just noticed his tail tip is black too! My last vet had him tested post Doxyclycline and informed me the limes symptoms were gone. No interest in doing that by Vet here. Did I miss a limes medication? He has the vaccine, you gave him that already cost me $40 and you charge me, your customer, more for Tick meds than I can pay elsewhere. That s just terribly wrong. I will, most likely, be leaving in 2024 as I m not getting the quality of service I expect from my pet s Vet... and I m sick of the nagging about getting their teeth cleaned. Money isn t growing on trees in my world :(

I believe the woman who help me was Beth (crossing my fingers i have that correct) - She was awesome - took great care of Kevin and taught me how to properly clean his ears - I mention that because i like the style of providing education vs telling. It helps to build trust. Thank you Beth for that.

Dr Loehr and staff are fantastic. We travel from FDL and even though it is a little bit of a drive, it is worth it! There is no better place to bring our beloved dogs. Thank you everyone for being so kind and compassionate. You can tell everyone enjoys working there!

I hope in the future I can schedule all my dogs at one time for their exam. Bringing four dogs on separate days is an inconvenience. (And one office visit fee would help too).

There were some items that were identified as items to watch and they were well explained at the office. It would have been nice to have a printed summary for reference about those items.
