Oliver (my cat) was to be travelling from central, NL back home to MP. He tends to be quite stressed while travelling and I wanted to know if I could give him gravol to make him more comfortable and what the dosage would be. Your answer was no we don t recommend it, but we do recommend the all natural oral drops or the calming spray - both of which we have tried and it does not work and was a waste of $$$. But you can come in and we ll charge you to see the vet to get a perscription. I think this is absolutely ridiculous and you are simply not there for the sake of animals. Oliver ended up trvaelling 5 hours in a car very stressed thanks to you. I think i may find a new vet who will be more accomodating to our needs.

No one I know gets charged to cut there animals nails .. When you visited for other things such as needles etc they usually cut them for free considering your paying for other things

The staff are easy to deal with and dont make you feel like you are bothering them. I like being acknowldged when you walk in. Dr was also very thorough and made sure i knew all about the surgery my cat had underwent. Thanks you very much Susan ,Jaylyn & Daisey

Our visits with Sunrise Animal Hospital have always been nothing less than excellent. We have been clients for 10+ years, and consistently receive professional, friendly and courteous care. I cannot think of a time that the hospital wasn t there for us in times of need. Doors always open ready to help even during several emergency situations. All staff friendly and professional. The vet was very good with our little dog, diagnosed his problem and prescribed the appropriate treatment. Also the staff phoned 48 hours after the visit to see how he was doing and if there were any issues with him or his medications. Excellent service!

I wish they would not try to upsell the products you sell there. If the pet is healthy, as shown by your own exam, please don t try to sell me products they don t need, just to increase the bottom line. In this case it was products for a problem our pet doesn t have. It s nice to be informed about issues associated with our particular type of pet, but we re not going to buy a product that helps with a particular issue that the pet does not have.

Came in for a steroid injection for my cat. Said when booking no exam, just shot please . Vet gave shot and took heartbeat. Instead of 17$ bill, it was 100$. 83$ for listening to a heartbeat is excessive. Still, great animal hospital and staff, just need to relay customer requests a bit better.

ifeel that the costs are way to high and only the elite in our society can care for their animals the way we would like to. I also feel that medication should have been the first. option, not blood work for a couple of hundred dollars. I feel that the high costs are unnecessary and unfair to animal owners

I ve only found one staff member to be not very friendly. Most of them are fantastic, but one girl is not very friendly at all, no smile, no hello, no nothing. When I said, hello, she looked at me, paused and said, Do you have an appointment? She had the same demeanour the entire time I was there. Not friendly at all. I felt like I was an inconvenience.

The bill was not explained, only the total given. I had some questions regarding some of the medicines that were given for flea/tick and heartworm but could not get anyone on the phone Friday evening around 6pm .. We appreciate the time that Dr D spent with us... having 2 senior dogs, I am sure we will be seeing him a lot more
