Dr. Acevedo and her team were wonderful. My dog is really large, and it has been very stressful trying to get her the medical care she needs because most people are intimidated by her size, and she gets quite anxious at the vet. They were able to figure out the best way to care for her, and I’m so grateful for the entire team. Everyone was patient, supportive, and gentle. My dog is well on her way to feeling 100% again.

I brought in both my dog for shots and a kitten that I found (to be adopted by someone else) that were great with both. Offered a slightly reduced rate on rescued kitten. Kitten had large wound, flees and worms.

It was difficult to get an appointment when my cat became ill. I would have to wait several days so I had to go to an emergency clinic which was incredibly expensive and see a vet who did not know my cat or his history.

Dealing with a sad end of life situation was like the kennel version of Calvary Hospital. They took all the time I needed and Idenfied the concerns and options for the least trauma to me and my wonderful pet. I am grateful to Lefferts which I started going when my pet was less than 1 years old. I have had only wonderful experiences in my 12 years going from Manhattan to Lefferts. This was my most difficult visit. I am so grateful that it was in the amazing Dr Halperin’s old practice. The new folks carry on his amazing tradition.
