Have been bringing my pets here for a long time. Now that my daughter and son in law have two dogs they bring them here as well the doctors and staff are wonderful! I wouldn’t think of bringing my pets anywhere else!

I am very thankful for all of Lefferts Hospital staff in adressing my fur babies kidney issues and doing everything they can to make sure she was loved cared for and attended to in a clean environment. Everyone also did an amazing job with communicating on payments and options and helping me to take further steps to keep my cat healthy and giving her another chance at life. The doctor suggested probiotics. We talked about it in the consultation, I agreed to use them (having a low supply at home), yet when I got home I saw there were none in the bag with the flea medicine. I didn t check carefully when in the office because the bill was so expensive, I assumed it was there, and there is some stress about having the pet and wanting to get her home. I expected a call from the vet yesterday, as he said he would call Saturday. I didn t get a call. The cat had blood test and possibly also fecal(?). I didn t see any check of her eyes and ears and whatever else is part of a senior examination. It is considered a different examination than for a younger cat, and is priced quite high. I would think the charge for comprehensive exam and senior exam should be both the same, not two separate charges. It seems like those should be enumerated if they are going to be separate charges. I am a bit offended that this wasn t explained. It seems redundant and a way to get more money.

For the first time I found the billing estimate conversation very difficult to take in. It reminded me of Spectrum and their creative billing strategy. There are some basic elements to the spaying operation and to bill all of them separately left me with spending almost $1,000 with you. I don t mind giving you money because I think I can count on you for responsible care, but that whole explanation of low versus high seems to say we can take good care of your pet or REALLY good care .

I want to thank the staff and surgeon for their professionalism and care they offered to my pet. My dog has gone through two surgeries within two months and were done with care and great results. Thanks to the care of my old dog his life has been extended for some time to come. My dogs which have been many, five to be exact, have been under the care of Lefferts Animal Hospital for over thirteen years . That I think says a lot of the trust I have to this Veterinary clinic !

My only wish is that I am charged the same cost for my appointment that I am previously quoted. Will multiple older dogs, money is tight and I am trying to be prepared. Otherwise, EVERYONE IS GREAT.
