Instead of telling people to wait on the phone for like 5 minutes, send the call the voicemail or have the receptionist take the name and number and get back to the patient on the phone. Staff was great. The facilities need to be updated.

I ve been going to Lefferts for YEARS. The contrast between Lefferts Animal Hospital to the 2 prior vets is vast. I feel quite sure they do the best for my pets.

Dr. Halpern and the staff of Lefferts Animal Hospital are first rate. All are professional, kind, and compassionate: from the veterinarians,to the lab techs,to the front desk staff. We would not bring our beloved poodle to any other veterinarian practice, and we recommend Lefferts very highly.

Friendly vet techs and front staffs. Dr Mittal is nice and she listens to me and pays attention to my needs. They also try to save me the cost which is nice. The only thing is that the waiting room is so small and I feel a bit uncomfortable being there. My cat gets stressed out especially when the waiting room is packed. I always wonder how they use the next door facility. I think it s a good idea to use it exclusively for cats? Just an idea.

There was no explanation of my bill, they just asked if i needed a receipt. There has been explanation previously. This day seemed kinda off, with how much pet meds cost there should always be an unprompted breakdown. Also there was a long wait, and a few people in the waiting room were complaining about the wait as well. Maybe it was a bad day. Everyone was friendly as usual.

I love Lefferts animal Hospital. When my cat has his outbreaks in needs a steroid treatment they are always unpredictable but the hospital is very good about accommodating me and seeing him immediately for steroid treatments. nothing is worse then seeing your first baby suffer even a little and life hurts make sure that it’s not for longer swiftly
