Visiting the vet with a sick pet can be very stressful on the pet ( my turtle Wishbone) as well as the caregiver . I am always put at ease when I come to Lefferts Animal Hospital ! Thanks to Dr. Halpern and the knowledgeable and courteous and caring staff, my Wishbone is responding well to the medicine and is improving daily! Thanks again and all the best to Lefferts Animal Hospital!

Had some issues with billing where original agreed price had to be fought for. This was despite having already told the vet that any additional services MUST be agreed on as money is an issue! Receptionist was not helpful and frankly her phone manner was awful.

Lefferts what is the best possible place I could’ve brought my furbabies. Everyone was very nice and any questions and concerns I had with explained were to me perfectly. I live in Brooklyn and then had pets for over 20 years. I would definitely bring my cats back there. My only issue is transportation. We have been used Lefferts Animal Hospital for a long time for all our beloved pets! We highly recommend them!!! the Doctors are top rate and we would never want to go anywhere else for the care and well being of our animals!!!

Thank you for taking care of my cat Zoey , I just wish the provide more funding for unfortunate pet owners. Maybe once a month do some pro Bono check ups. Over all everything was good and I will tell people about this place. Thanks again.

As usual; Dr. Halpern was professional & kind to my sweet little old lady Zion, the beautiful grey & white cat. He took care of the problem and was very well informed & I also want to thank him with all of my heart & soul for solving a terrible problem I had with My Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier who was adopted from a Kill shelter after being abused and probably from a Puppy Mill direct to Pet shop sell. He was found abandoned and very unhappy from his cruel life. Dr. Halpern has given this poor animal a new life with the appropriate medications! THANK YOU SO MUCH & thanks to all of the wonderful people at Lefferts Animal Hosp. PLEASE: Adopt; do not go to a pet shop for a dog or cat.

Probably not anything you can do about this but parking is hard to get even with an early 9am appointment. If office hours were earlier, parking might be easier???

Waited over thirty minutes past appointment time. Would be cool to get notified if the doctor is behind via text.

I wish that would have earlier hours maybe start one or two days a week at 7:30 or 8:00 so people can make appointments before going to work
