Very satisfied! We did wait 30 minutes to be seen but all went well.

When I called to schedule Boarding I asked specifically what the total charge would be according to the hours in which I would be dropping off & picking up. I was told $92.50. When I arrived for pick up, the cost was $118. Not only was the cost higher, but then I did not bring enough cash. So, I had to pay via debit card for an additional charge! The girl that check me out was very unapologetic. I am very unhappy with the situation.

I can not thank NCVC enough. They always see my cats/kittens when ever they need to be seen. It can be just a regular visit or an emergency visit. They always get us in. The first time we ever went there was an Easter Sunday emergency visit. We couldn t get in to pet ER and our regular vet couldn t see us either. I called a lot of vets and NCVC called me back and saw us within an hour. I knew our cats needed ER care, and they were wonderful. Needless to say we switched all our pets to NCVC. And have been so thankful for them. Our most recent call was because we were going to adopt a very sick, malnourished, neglected cat. It was a stray in a shelter. I called and they saw us the same day, within hours and got this poor baby tested and on medication immediately. The kindness they showed to this older cat was so appreciated... Now more than anyone can ever express. I know with the cats we have adopted, some with lots of issues, people wonder what we are thinking. But knowing they have a vet that cares, vet techs that are gentle and kind, and so much more....it makes our decisions easier. This latest cat, there was no way we could let her die alone in a cage. Knowing her chances of being adopted and getting the best care were pretty much a zero. We decided to give her a good loving warm home and know if she has a long life or a short life, she is cared for. We told the shelter we would adopt her but we needed to get the cat to our vet ASAP, because we trusted them. And now we have added Iris to our family.

I got my appointment same day. We agreed my dog needed to be put down which helped make the decision. It was done with compassion. I trust Dr. Ludwig completely.

We moved to the area and called this vet to get established. The charges I was quoted on the phone were less than I was actually charged. This practice charges for every move made by the vet. That isn’t what I am used to with a hometown veterinarian practice. Our dogs were given a vaccination they had already received previously. This resulted in a $76.00 unnecessary charge. Our bill was just under $600 so that amount is significant to us. I called to talk to the vet about it and was told she would return my call and that never happened. The vet was friendly when with us in the exam room and I found her knowledgeable. The amount of time we waited for the vet once we were in the exam room was ridiculously long. Dogs get antsy at a vet so the time spent in the exam room should be kept to a minimum. The assistant didn’t seem to be comfortable with dogs. Just my observation. We were looking for a practice where we felt comfortable and this one didn’t give us that.

I would have liked a printed copy of discharge instructions and printed copy of lab results with the billing statement. I did get a detailed bill which i appreciate.

I was so happy to see my dogs doctor at the phycility in Philips. Last year I went to park falls, so it was nice to know my fur babies were going to receive the great care they are used to. Thanks for being there!
