A great first impression!!

Was not Happy with my Doctor Experience. I usually see Wilkerson and he wasn t available so I saw another doctor. She was diagnosing my dog without even putting her eye balls on him and asking me to pay for blood work etc in excess of $200 before LOOKING at my dog.

We love Dr. Dawkins and Dr. Bell. Both are excellent doctors and we appreciate your help with our dogs.

Dr Wilkerson was knowledgeable on the type of chameleon I owned and I felt comfortable that he was competent in providing appropriate care for this sensitive species. I was surprised that I was not asked about my husbandry and what type of enclosure I had set up for him, the supplements I use, the lights I have, the temperature and humidity levels in his enclosure, how do I gutload his feeders, how much water is he provided everyday, and what type of plants are in his enclosure. This is all valuable information and should be discussed as if it s not provided correctly it can lead to other health problems.

Re #5, no discussion of cost was offered...needed to ask.

The Hockessin team has been wonderful over the years managing our dog’s health and keep us informed as owners. We and our sweet black lab “Bren” offer enthusiastic thanks for the excellent service and support!

The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Ian asked good questions in preparation for Dr. Anthony to examine Duke. Dr. Anthony was AWESOME, as always. His examination was thorough and he took plenty of time to explain Duke s current health status and answer all of our questions. We feel confident that Duke is well cared for whenever we visit Dr. Anthony and his staff.

Dr. White and her vet tech were so friendly, helpful, and kept us at ease during a stressful event. We thought our cat had seriously hurt her legs in a fall, but it turned out to be an anal sac drainage issue (who knew?). We are so grateful for the kind attention to our cat who was in a lot of pain. Thank you so much! She is doing much better, and back to her normal self. Please pass along our gratitude.

Everyone was pleasant, respectful and accommodating. I am a first time pet owner and all of the staff answered every question I had. The facility was clean and my pets were treated with care. I highly recommend this clinic to any pet owner.

Dr. Wilkerson is the best Vet that I have ever taken any of my pet to over the past many years. He has outstanding interaction with the animals and is very professional and friendly. Wouldn t go anywhere else. Thank you.

We had a wonderful visit, each employee was kind and when it came to hands on contact with our duck, each person was gentle and caring. We would not think of taking our animals to any other place for care. Thanks to everyone who helped our duck who is healing beautifully. Kindly Lorraine Slater

I would be glad to rate all 5 but couldn t get choice to register

The focus on finances is unsettling when my animal is extremely ill. It is understandable that you need to be paid, but to make that the first transaction is not a friendly policy.

Our visit was an unplanned emergent appointment. Moose was seen immediately and I was greatly relieved getting him in as soon as Dr. E arrived. While I always have a little sticker shock at the cost, I would not compromise on the quality and care at Talleyville.

I admire Dr. Stolzfus a lot. I can tell by the way she handles my cats that she loves animals. Her gentleness stands out. Other staff members have been kind and courteous. Talleyville Veterinary Hospital is a great place to take my cats - for good health exams and for treating illnesses. - Ellie Munson

Need to make process for reporting back lab results work better. Still waiting for blood analysis results that were supposed to be back yesterday. Other than that, everything is fine.

Amy was thorough in her questions to update Bella s medical hx. She also inquired as to whether I had any questions or concerns. As always, Dr.Anthony is extremely thorough with Bella s examination. I cannot express enough how grateful I am that I found this place! The staff was so personable and friendly. Dr Dawkins was so thorough and patient with all of my questions. Most of all, it’s so clear how much all of you love animals. It was so nice to see a vet be snuggly with my kitties- it really makes a difference! Thank you so much for going above and beyond to provide a place I can trust with my babies :)

Had brought in a stool sample to be tested. Staff did not indicate that it needed to be malleable or check that it was testable. Brody had an accident in the room during the appointment, which a stool sample could have been taken from to run the test. After I arrive home I receive a call hours later that the original stool sample was not testable. I was still charged for the test - it s now listed as a pre-paid test on my account even though I have requested a call back for a refund several times. This is unacceptable.

Staff always friendly and helpful

Everyone is always so kind to Penny. I know she is getting the best care. Dr. Stolzfus is a caring vet. We drive a little further but it is definitely worth the drive for excellent care for little Penny Pearl.

I rated each item as a #5. Apparently the survey form didn t work as expected. One suggestion: when a prescription calls for 1/2 a pill, it would be really helpful for you to procure pills with the exact dose of the prescription or with a notch to easily break the pill.

I didn t like the doctors attitude towards my dogs.

We waited a bit longer than expected. Things were backed up when we came in.
