When I called, I explained my dog is high anxiety and works himself up and screams loudly. I was made to wait for 20 minutes before the doctor came in and then he was scared of my dog. He didn t check his teeth or do any body examination. It took me persuading him to even do his vaccines and his original intent was to just send me away because my dog was too loud. I miss Dr. Howes. He took great care of my dog but this time, the compassion was lacking.

Excellent service! Called with pet concern 7 pm. Staff was able to make room so my pet could be seen as soon as I could get to clinic. Short wait until Vet could examine pet and order in office tests/xrays. Results were ready after a short waiting time. More tests were sent out with follow up call next day as promised. Results clearly explained with diagnosis and medication prescribed. Treatment has just begun and I feel confident Dr. Hedges diagnosis and care treatment will help my pet recover. Thank you Dr. Hedges & Staff!

I had to privilege to have my cat seen by Dr. Hedges. He has been at this clinic a very long time and is well respected throughout the Veterinarians in this state. Dr Hedges take the time to explain things thoroughly and offer possible solutions when dealing with pet care. I would highly recommend Dr Hedges and his clinic to anyone in the New Brighton and adjoining area.

The staff was over the top friendly. They loved my dog which made me so comfortable. Love this place!

Please work on your phone system. I tried calling the next day for information on meds and eating, but was put on hold. When the person came back on the line, I could hear them, but they couldn’t hear me. I then called back and got a message saying to callback in 5 minutes. I never did get through, and I would have expected a follow up call after the surgery.

Past veterinarians have called to touch base after a surgery? I find this truly comforting and helpful? Does not need to be the vet? Any staff will work? Truly just a courtesy? Makes you above and beyond? Not that you are not already! ?? I highly recommend you to all! Every time a question of what vet is best? Epically social media! You are my one and only! 5 GOLD STARS!

Dr. Nelson was very kind and informative. He took time to answer my questions and I didn’t feel rushed.

We appreciate that we always have such kind people helping us at your clinic! One thing we have noticed is that the “leash your dog” rule doesn’t seem to be enforced in the waiting room. We have been there multiple times when dogs are not on a leash, are roaming, or are on a retractable leash with a long lead. This can be stressful for us as our dog is fearful of other dogs and gets reactive when they enter her space quickly.
