TLC was recommended to us by a dear friend after we had a disappointing experience at another local vet. We were deeply uncertain about our dog s grim condition, but from the moment I spoke with Gail on my initial call, I felt reassured. She was incredibly kind, called me back right away, and was able to get our sick dog in that very afternoon. The front desk team was warm and welcoming, and the vet techs were genuinely caring and compassionate. Dr. Sue was nothing short of incredible. While the future remains uncertain for our 9.5-year-old Rottweiler, she quite literally saved his life. My husband and I have had dogs throughout our childhood and adult lives, but we have never met a veterinarian like Dr. Sue. She was truly exceptional—taking the time to explain everything clearly, making thoughtful recommendations, setting a clear plan with expectations, and following through with consistent communication. She has continued to guide us as we navigate this critical time. Additionally, the cost was extremely reasonable, and at no point were unnecessary procedures or treatments suggested. We have already shared our experience with family and friends and wholeheartedly recommend TLC. Without a doubt, we will continue to trust them with our pets now and in the future.

I would never consider taking my pets to any other for as long as I m in Chicago. Dr. Sue is absolutely amazing and I have complete trust in her. Gabi is positively wonderful and like Dr. Sue, always takes the time to explain what s going on and to generally make me and my pets feel at home. Between the lovely administration staff, the technicians, and Dr. Sue, this is the only place I intend to take my furry family.

In response to question 5, about your fees being comparable to other local hospitals, I don t know because I have not visited another, but I do think it is very expensive for the annual exam. It costs $400 -$500. I do understand you the practice does have expenses too. Things are just too expensive everywhere.
