Dr. Peterson is still the best!

I m a first-time puppy mom, and Dr. Thill took the time to listen to all of my questions and gave some helpful feedback. I greatly appreciated her willingness to help!

Casselton is the best vet clinic I have ever had care for my pets in years of pet ownership. Great over the whole life cycle of a pet. Very competent, compassionate, and friendly. A1 in my book.

Waiting time in the room was a little long, but the appointment moved well once we were seen

The front desk girl was going to overcharge me by $115. I was NOT HAPPY about that. If I hadn t inquired about the price of an additional blood test while I was in the exam room, the vet would have never seen the bill and mention the ultrasound amount was wrong and made a very visible note on my paperwork. When I went to pay she chose to accidentally not see the VERY visible notation from the vet. I mentioned it and she said oh I didn t see it . I was appalled and it was obvious she lied right to my face.

Called in to move up my appointment due to worsening symptoms in lab. Got me in right away. Always very friendly and do a thorough exam! We have always been pleased leaving!

As always the visit with my feline family member went amazing. I do find it odd that the plants they keep in the office are potentially poisonous to cats/dogs if ingested, yet are kept in those waiting areas. I wish we were seen by the same vet each appointment and not rotated through. It does make it convenient for ease of appointments, but lacks quality follow up care. Less than a year ago (and at every appointment for the past 3+ years) the vets we saw said her teeth were in great condition. In a 9ish month span from her last appt the new vet said she needed a complete dental work up. The kitty shows zero signs of dental issues and has all of her teeth (great for a 12+ year old cat!). I understand the importance of dental care, but was left frustrated by the lack of consistency in veterinary care. The technician was amazing and answered my questions to the best of her abilities. I just wish the actual vet would have went over the steps of the procedure to clear up some confusion over post medication options instead of passing that task on.

We have been bringing Holly there for 13 years and have always received the best customer service and treatment for her.

THEY HAVE BEEN MY VET CLINIC OF CHOICE FOR EACH OF MY PETS THROUGHOUT THE YEARS. CAN T COMMEND DR. HUCKLE ENOUGH ON WHAT A GREAT VET SHE IS.

While I got into the exam room and explained the situation with my pet to the Vet tech quickly, I waited about 20 minutes for the Vet to arrive. Then after 5-10 minutes of the Vet examining my pet, it took another 15-20 minutes for her to come back with options. I would have liked things to go quicker since I ended up being in the facility for well over an hour.

Highly recommend Dr Bjerke. This was my first visit to Casselton Veterinary with our female cat and found their service to be professional start to finish

The nurse was great and really listened to my concerns and asked many follow up questions to try to understand why Shiloh might be struggling with itchy skin. I want to sing my praises to her because she was great. My only low star ratings were towards Dr Peterson. He may be great when it comes to checking out my dog but he isn’t very good at explaining what he’s seeing and not good at all with (what it seems like) wanting to find a good solution for the itching/allergies. I get a lot of, well we could try this or well it may be this, but I’m not going to spend a lot of money trying things for “it might’be” and hoping it works vs really trying something that will be certain. I had to ask if there is some kind of allergy test we can do to find out what exactly she may be allergic to. The nurse said there was and could provide me a quote for the different tests. I was happy with that and will most likely purchase the allergy test. The first time I addressed my concerns to Dr Peterson I was sent home with some expensive, albeit temporary, pills to help with the itching, some topical hydrocortisone conditioner (still temporary relief) and to try out the special royal cabin protein food. The food didnt help and the pills/conditioner was temporary relief.

Dr Huckle seemed to truly care about our old guy and treated him kindly and with respect. I believe she has his best interests at heart. The tech was a bit more business and asked us about lab options for Cody but didn’t really relay if the vet felt they were necessary or if they were just options.
