We were very pleased with the service received. The upcoming surgery procedure was explained and our questions answered. We felt very fortunate that an appointment for someone else was cancelled and we received a call to take that slot. If I could do cartwheels I would have done a couple after getting that call. I called right at 0700 and got an appointment, same day, which was great. Dr Smith and the techs were great I called the following day and spoke to a tech as my dog was having severe pain. They prescribed a new pain medication. A couple hours later I was going home on my lunch hour to check on my pet and wanted to pick up the new pain medication and I called to see if it was ready to be picked up and the receptionist that answered the phone was a little rude, explaining the 72 hour policy to me. I did feel that this was a more emergent request as my dog was in severe pain, but she did not care to listen, she just went on about the 72 hour policy. The tech did end up calling a short while later and it was ready. But the receptionist was just not very friendly in an already stressful and emotional situation for me.

You will NEVER find anyone better than Jackie Schmid, don t let her go again. That lady cares and knows her shit. I have recommended her to so many people, yet selfishly at the same time don t want to because I never want her to be too busy to see my dog. If it wasn t for Dr. Schmid and Dr. Huckle we would go somewhere else that was more convenient and small town feeling. Dr Schmid and Dr Huckle care enough to know the animals and the owners to make it personal. To some animals are all they have and that is their family - Schmid and Huckle get that. And to be able to trust them and know they trust us as pet parents to do what is best for our animals means a lot.

I have always appreciated the love and care given to our fur babies. The front end staff in Casselton demonstrate more than just administrative duties. They listen and work hard to help solve any need. You can tell they get what it means to be a pup parent and they are patient with my requests and demands. I visited on Saturday evening. I had to call a couple of times throughout the day as all lines were busy. I understand. Staffing is tricky these days. Once I was able to speak with a vet tech, everything was very smooth. I am so thankful for the team at Casselton Vet - Fargo. Everyone is knowledgeable and patient with my questions. I appreciate the extended hours offered on evenings and Saturdays. It is also nice to know that prices are fair and staff is transparent when costs are discussed. Keep on being awesome and THANK YOU!

Thank you so much for the help! Rubix has that weird dog cough that’s going around bad, and he’s improved very much while on the medicine and antibiotic. He had another week or so on it, so hoping that he’s back to normal by the time it’s through!

Absolutely the best staff anywhere. They seemed to care for our dog (Azzla) as much as we do. Thanks for your kindness and they waited for us 5 after they should have closed. Staff could be rated all 10. We were giving our dog what we thought was high end food (blue bufflo). The staff member even wrote down the best ones for Azzla. Thanks for bringing our puppy back to her old self.
