Dr Freeman professional , Kind and down to earth . Plus a great Vet ! All the staff is kind and do their job well.

I do not like that they assume I want all these shots and tests done without consulting with me first. I went in for a rabies shot. That’s all I wanted done and one tick/heart worm preventative. Thirty minutes later my bill is $535 !! They first walked in and I was told that my dog didn’t need an examine because he just had one and it would save me money, but then I was charged for an examine $77, they noticed he was shaking his head so they did a swab test without even asking me if I wanted it done. That was $55. I would like if they ask before they treat.

There is no other veterinarian practice I would have than Longwood taking care of my furry family members. Through 4 dogs and numerous odd maladies, Longwood has been exemplary at diagnosing, treating and being compassionate. Every staff member is obviously hand chosen as every person from front desk back to the OR has the same level of commitment to providing the best care possible. I cannot express fully what Longwood Veterinary Hospital means to our family. ??

Dr. Kim Knipe was very knowledgeable and sensitive to my senior felines needs. I like that she spoke her mind as she was going thru her thought process and evaluation to come to the final decision on her reccomendations. She always makes me feel like she really cares about us. It s not just business. I would clone her 10 times over if we were allowed. She is definitely an asset to the Longwood Vetenary team! I trust my baby with her.

Your team is fantastic. All around. I appreciate how thorough everyone’s notes are, such that one doctor can easily hand the baton off to another. In any other situation it might be tough to bounce from one doctor to another (which would make scheduling far more difficult), but your team has really done a fine job of making it seamless.

Dana Mcildoon is SO amazing. I have literally followed her where ever she has gone from DE to Lancaster to you guys. Don t let her get away! And the rest of the staff is always so very friendly!!! Love it at Longwood!

I was asked to take both a urine and stool sample from my dig but was not given a kit nor instructed how to do this

Dr. Knipe and her staff are kind, considerate, and expert. We are grateful for her attention. The performance of the suggested outside pharmacy is questionable but the result is still open.
