I am a senior citizen and am eligible for the 10% discount however my vet only sees animals on Thursday and this was not convenient for me. I had to rearrange my schedule to be able to see him. I think he should have 2 days available. Thanks

There was very little explained about the bill. Many things were done before cost was discussed and there was no option to find out cost before decisions were made. Also on our second visit, we were asked to wait for a little bit to make sure that our cat was okay after being administered a drug and we were promptly forgotten about. We waited in the room for an hour. I rang the bell several times and knocked on the door to the inner room and no one responded. Come to find out, we only needed to wait about 15 minutes, but no one checked on us and no one told us anything for that hour until my husband was able to flag down the doctor. There was no real apology offered (a small discount would have been nice). Then we were told we would received a call the next day about the results on the stool sample and I had to call three days later when I hadn t heard anything. While the staff was quick to get us in and fairly nice, there is a huge issue with organization and communication with the facility. I am not sure that we will choose to come back.

I spent roughly 150 bucks for pain meds, and an office visit which were a waste. I had to come back the next morning because the vet wasn t able to do what she needed to do for my cat because my cat was not cooperating. I brought her back the next morning and left her there. Called and left a message for the vet that I just wanted antibiotics and no sixteen and to try to get her to pee herself. When i came to pick her up, nothing was done-again they say she was not cooperating. I was handed my cat and as soon as I took the cage I smelled feces. Not sure it was my cat, I took her to my car and sure enough-she had cat feces all over her and she was sitting in it. They didn t bother to tell me. On my way home, I called to voice my displeasure and was told that she must have done that when they were trying to give her the sixteen. I replied that I told them I didn t want that done. But that I just wanted her to have water and the antibiotic. The rep then tripped over her words and said, Oh, well maybe they didn t do that. So 150 bucks later and with nothing done on my cat, she was still sick. I took her to Pike Creek Hospital the next morning and was there 20 mins tops, they got her to pee and determined a urinary tract infection. They didn t try to nickel and dime me with this pain med and that anti-inflammatory. They gave me just what I needed. So $300, 3 vet visits and 2 days later I finally got what I should have gotten at Windcrest but didn t. Needless to say I won t be back. Suggestions: when people tell you they are trying to keep costs down, it means they don t have the money for all the extras. My cat was acting fine so pain meds-not necessary. The $30 bag of food-stop pushing so hard-offer up the ingredients that are useful for cats that get urinary tract infections so we can look elsewhere for it cheaper if we can t afford a $30 bag. This visit felt so much like Windcrest was about the money first and the pets second. LISTEN to people, ASK them how there pets are feeling, acting-if they aren t acting like they are in pain, don t push the expensive meds-give them what they need and nothing more.

While not my regular vet, I was glad to get my cat in to Windcrest/Centreville for a semi emergency when my vet could not see him. Dr Bell was very thourough and stayed on top of trying to get the different medications needed from several sites.

One day after my appointment I received a healthcare reminder saying my dog would need bloodwork done in three weeks. So why wasn t the bloodwork done when I was there? Or did it not need to be done? I don t know but I m not going to be doing bloodwork until my next appointment in January. it s more than annoying to receive this notice a day after my appointment. Apparently no one is updating your records or no one thought to tell me bloodwork would be needed in three weeks. Either way it s sloppy.

I was very surprised at the bill because I was quoted a well visit of $67. During the visit the doctor suggested to redo an FIV test and asked for stool sample I had no idea that the still sample was an extra charge and wasn’t told the charge for the FIV ...
