Once again the syringes supplied with the liquid medication are not compatible with the dispensing top use on the medication bottle. This continually happens. It is very frustrating that The staff do not pay attention to this simple detail

Honestly my whole family has been coming to centerville vet since the dawn of time. This was probably the first time I’ve really had a bad experience with anyone, but Dani was really rude throughout the whole process at Windcrest. I had scheduled and appointment for my cat Esther to be groomed and she was behind on her rabies vaccine. When I called about her needing a sanitary shave and full grooming I was assured this was no issue. Then the appointment was moved because there was not doctor on. Ok. So that happens... except I got a call the day before the rescheduled appointment to move it again for the same reason. I was really concerned about the sanitary shave because Ester would no longer let me even trim around her rump with scissors. Long story short they squeezed us in for a shave at Windcrest. It turned into this whole judgemental talk about the weight of my cat, and yes she is a bit portly. But I have one 20 year old cat that is so skittish around food that I have to keep a bowl of dry food out almost all the time. Plus Esther is the only cat who doesn’t get wet food because she doesn’t like it. Added to that, we had her on the dental food that is known to increase weight and when it comes to dental surgery or some extra pounds I’m going to go with the weight. Regardless. Dani was really nasty, rude and critical. If we hadn’t had to reschedule twice the shave situation wouldn’t have been so severe but she made comments continuously about Esther and “wanting to be clean but she’s too fat to reach her butt.” Well that’s not true because I see her try to clean back there. She is just a long hair cat and if I don’t spend a lot of time with the brush anywhere on her body she gets mats. I understand she needs to lose some weight but being overly cruel about it doesn’t help or inspire confidence. I thought someone should know about this incident because I don’t know how many other pet owners are dealing with similar situations with Dani but aren’t saying anything.

I went in so my rabbit could be seen, spent a total of 4.5 hours there. Only to have the vet tell us we could give her medicine and she would be fine. She told us there was no emergency and she should be fine. We put the last of money we had into her care and we trusted the vet. She dies when we woke up the next morning. I will never trust this vet again and I am disgraced by this hospital. I will be letting everyone I know that already goes here to never visit again.

I paid for my Labrador and Chesapeake to be bathed,, they did not receive a bath, they sprayed them with fragrance, I paid for my Labrador to have her nails clipped that was not done either.....pleased that you could take our dogs, very displeased with lack of grooming, makes me wonder how well they were cared for. Office clean, kennels are a very gloomy place.

Dr. Anthony is the Dr. Po of Hockessin. He truly understands GSD s and is thorough and clear with his explanation of a dog s condition. I hope he never moves. The staff at Hockessin has always been supportive and helpful. It s a little pricey but I wouldn t change.

As Sydney was seen whilst being groomed - not a pre-arranged appointment - and I wasn t there for the consultation - it would have been a lot more helpful if I had been provided with a written report on what they checked and what they thought the problem was. Instead I just got a - she s fine - when she obviously isn t. First time ever I have been disappointed with Windcrest.

Dr Dawkins was able to make a home visit since I was not well enough to drive since eig in the hospital. I was concerned about my 2 Bostons- nails needed to be cut,, up date on flu shots. It was wonderful to have a Vet and her staff be so concerned about my dogs

I was not told when I made the boarding reservation that our dog needed to have her canine influenza vaccine. This also entailed a doctor visit. Wbat I expected to be an 80.00 overnight boarding( I did expect a fecal exam) turned into a 185.00 fee. That is a lpt of money for an overnight!!
