While we have always been happy with the Vets and ALL staff at Pewaukee Vet Services for the past 12 years with our dog Willy, we have formed a special bond with Dr. Carolyn Hamm in the brief time we ve known her since our dog tore both of his ACLs in June. Her expertise, patience, WARMTH, humor and ability to share her knowledge at a level we can understand have all been invaluable to us. Knowing how anxious Willy is when he comes to the vet, she even came out to our CAR to remove his sutures when he had a cyst taken out! I have shared that story countless times since it occurred, and every single time it is met with a hand over the heart and an Awwww! It s a simple story, but one that epitomizes who she is and the care she gives Willy AND US. We couldn t adore or appreciate her more. We have been long-time, 16+years, clients at Pewaukee Veterinary Service. Our two dogs have used services ranging from doggy daycare and grooming to ongoing veterinary health care services, all provided by their exceptional staff of veterinarians, technicians, assistants, pharmacy staff, customer service staff, and more. Our dogs have always received exceptional medical care in a prompt and professional manner....we consider the staff and owners to be our dog’s ‘extended family’ and we know we can rely on them for the best, state-of-the art-care. We also feel that because they are locally veterinarian-owned, they truly have a vested interest in providing the best care to our pets, and never hesitate to recommend them to friends, co-workers and family.

Dr Nick Schuett is very nice, explained things well and dog did great. The dog liked him also. He seems very competent as well. Website was down so can’t comment. We will bring our new puppy to him which shows how much we value his concern and talents

I had 2 visits 2 days apart so I’m not sure which this is for but both Drs Nick and Lisa took time with my dog, Maisie. The 2nd visit became somewhat more of an emergency. Dr Lisa called me back addressing my concerns the night before and subsequently got my dog in on the following day. The time both vets took to try to figure out what was going on was greatly appreciated. My questions were answered. I appreciated all the blood work being run while I waited so I did not have to leave wondering what was wrong. We are hoping she is on to a full recovery. Thank you.

Dr. Kelly helped us with our old dog that passed away in Feb. Now that we have a new puppy we wouldn’t pick another vet for our new guy. She is great and we know our pet will get exceptional care.

I absolutely love Dr. Kelly. We couldnt ask for a better person to care for all of my animals. I will never ever forget how she was there for Scout and myself when i was losing Scout. She is so compassionate and caring. It is ao obvious that she loves her patients. She guided me every step of the way during scouts last few months and talked mw through putting her to sleep like no other vet ever has, encouraging me to keep talking to Scout during the process. She handled my situation so gently. She is also amazing with Lucy and Violet but Scout and I were such a tough case that i cant stop giving her kudos for that. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my beloved pets. Everyone at Pewaukee Vet is amazing but Kelly and Anna are just over the top for me.

My first time boarding my pet. I was so impressed with the staff attending to my dear cat and the check in / check out process was so efficient. The desk employees were absolutely fantastic. I did call the facility mid-stay to check on her and the employee I spoke with gave me a truly honest observation but at the same time assured me my cat was adjusting to her first time boarding experience. I appreciated that employees time, candidness and professionalism. I am so happy I chose this facility over others in the area. Having veterinary staff available in the event of illness of my pet was more than reassuring. I will definitely board my cat again if need be.
