Our dog, Chena, is anxious and reactive during veterinary examinations. We definitely have to use her muzzle. This time, despite being medicated with Trazadone, she was still very reactive. Dr. Werkiser and the tech, Allison, were AMAZING in their handling of Chena! They were calm throughout it all, and with the help of us giving her a constant supply of treats and peanut butter, were able to get everything done. Allison was especially adept at getting Chena s blood drawn without her even flinching, and even persisted through Chena s need to have her freedom to move about the room, to get just about ALL of her nails trimmed (usually impossible)! We re grateful for Dr. Werkiser and the team at WAH for their expertise, knowledge, and compassion.

I don t understand the rating. Yes = poor? No= excellent? My visit was as always professional and patient care excellent. Reception was very helpful and prompt. Dr Ladman and the radiologist were concerned, thorough, professional. Same for Dr Werkehiser although I had seen her recently and not on Friday.

Dr. Ladman is great! We appreciate her time and attention. We also love meeting with Sarah. They both take the time to truly listen, follow up promptly and give great advice. We are grateful for their open mindedness - which is hard to find in a vet. Most vets today are so by the textbook that they seem to lack critical thinking nowadays, but that is not at all the case at Wilmington Animal Hospital - which is why we make it a point to visit from afar. Thank you!

Our dog is 9 years old. We have been struggling to find a way to address his SLO for about the last 5 or 6 years. It has cost a fortune and we have not had good results. I switched to Wilmington Animal Hospital a year ago. This has been the BEST EXPERIENCE. The vets have listened to our needs and concerns. Our dog, while still a little nervous when he gets to the Vet s office, is much less anxious during visits. I am so grateful to finally have some help.

We have now had two pets cared for by Wilmington Animal Hospital. With our last dog, Dr. Epstein caught a s serious illness which our previous vet had missed just a few weeks before. When it was time to let our Golden Retriever go, the entire staff responded with care, compassion, efficiency, courtesy, & love. When we adopted our new dog there was no question about where we d take him for care.

You guys walk on water. It was explained to us that we needed to wait, due to an emergency. We gladly waited. When we had emergencies your office dropped everything and took care of us.
