Every time I have contact with casselton vet they blow me away with their helpfulness. If they don t know the answer to my question they find someone that does. If I need to come in they find me a time. The folks that work down there are great.

The receptionist we had took anywhere from 20-30 minutes to check us out after our appointment Saturday. I am not sure why it took so long, I had everything ready that I wanted to buy but she kept running to the back to check on random things (which I had not seen the invoice so I wasn t sure what she was questioning). The receptionist next to her checked in people and checked people out atleast 3-4 people while I stood at the counter this entire time waiting to pay and leave. Just wanted to relay this feedback as it wasn t necessary and I have no idea why it took that long. Overall very happy with the rest of the appointment and staff. Thank you,

I have to say I was throughly impressed with VET Hannah Smith -SHE spent the amount of time with myself and my beloved pup that was impressive . Her knowledge And explaination and suggestions were impeccable . I will be asking to see her moving forward for all of my vet needs . Not only was she knowledgeable She was empathetic and non judgmental and excellent with my PET She kept Things light with confident and reliable explanations ….which is refreshing. That is Integrity to its highest form . Thank u Hannah for your kind words - ur expertise shows !

I would appreciate when I ask a question, that the doctor doesn’t just say “it’s the law”. I asked for the law to be provided to me, read it, and discovered that “it’s the law” is implausible. More patients should be asking questions instead of accepting every word the doctors say IMO…

Dr Peterson was very thorough in his explanations and options for treatment/ ongoing care. He also is very realistic that not everything works for everyone and he is there to provide options but ultimately the decision on how to best manage care was up to me. I felt no judgements when trying to figure out what will work best for my particular situation. His tech was also very helpful answering questions. She was also very efficient and kept things moving along smoothly without making me feel rushed.

Dr. Mary always does a great job and is very thorough. Minou & Stormie love coming to see her!

The only thing I think could be improved upon is some sort of ventilation in the rooms. It became hot and stuffy feeling pretty quickly, and I believe that added to the marginal stress my dog was experiencing. He overheated and I imagine that could be something others have experienced as well

The veterinarian that worked with my pup Scout was the best and now I understand that it was her last day before retirement! I wish her all the best and hope you can extend that to her!

Our appointment was at 2:00 and we didn’t get in u til nearly 3:00. He took my trailer mates first, then he took an entirely different client! Then he got called away on an emergency and who I assume was a vet tech finally got to my horse. Bent a needle but got the job done. I’m happy enough with the service but was disappointed that the vet never actually even spoke to me and that we had to wait so long. We drove an hour to get there and an hour back. I know there are, at times, extreme circumstances that have to take priority, and I’m ok with that, but someone could have told me, and I should’ve been taken before the other client. I think it was a breeding client, and I imagine they are more lucrative business than just vaccinations and Coggins, but that doesn’t really help!

Appointment took over an hour for just a wellness check, so it was a little inconvenient

We love seeing Dr. Bartholomay, he’s always kind, takes the time to listen while making us feel heard and supported! He genuinely cares about our dogs and their health.

Dr. Schmid and the vet tech were fantastic! Our reactive dog does very well with her and that says everything. She definitely knows how to read the personality traits of a large overprotective dog. Took the time for a thorough exam, answered questions, concerns and gave recommendations. Going to the vet with a reactive dog is very stressful for everyone, but since we ve been seeing Dr. Schmid it s been a positive experience and have had no issues. Thank you!

Every employee was kind and helpful! Dr. Thill has always provided great care to my lizard. She goes above and beyond to make sure that we have a plan of action that is comfortable for us and in the best interest of my lizard.

There was a lot going on, which I think caused the vet to be a bit short with explanations. There were also multiple animals being seen with different owners and it felt like a few were blamed for the condition of the other animals because the owners left early.

We will be driving to casselton for for all of Sammy s appointments. We love it there and always did when we had Louie.
