I will admit I had high hopes and low expectations for getting in the same day I called. I was concerned that I d have to wait a few days or end up at the Emergency hospital for something that may not be an emergency. Thankfully, you have the option of last minute appointments. It was unusual for me to be lucky enough to get one of those appointments, but we got it. I d never been there before but had heard good things. I was pleased with how the visit went and scheduled another appointment as well.

The veterinarian and tech were fantastic. They were great at explaining the issue, lab results and treatment and answered questions. They encouraged to call if I had questions or concerns. Thank you for the great care!

It would be nice if there was a N/A answer available on Thurs survey. The vet came to our farm so the questions about your offices are difficult to answer truthfully, which is that I don t have an answer for that question.

We were very pleased with the service received. The upcoming surgery procedure was explained and our questions answered. We felt very fortunate that an appointment for someone else was cancelled and we received a call to take that slot. If I could do cartwheels I would have done a couple after getting that call. I called right at 0700 and got an appointment, same day, which was great. Dr Smith and the techs were great I called the following day and spoke to a tech as my dog was having severe pain. They prescribed a new pain medication. A couple hours later I was going home on my lunch hour to check on my pet and wanted to pick up the new pain medication and I called to see if it was ready to be picked up and the receptionist that answered the phone was a little rude, explaining the 72 hour policy to me. I did feel that this was a more emergent request as my dog was in severe pain, but she did not care to listen, she just went on about the 72 hour policy. The tech did end up calling a short while later and it was ready. But the receptionist was just not very friendly in an already stressful and emotional situation for me.

You will NEVER find anyone better than Jackie Schmid, don t let her go again. That lady cares and knows her shit. I have recommended her to so many people, yet selfishly at the same time don t want to because I never want her to be too busy to see my dog. If it wasn t for Dr. Schmid and Dr. Huckle we would go somewhere else that was more convenient and small town feeling. Dr Schmid and Dr Huckle care enough to know the animals and the owners to make it personal. To some animals are all they have and that is their family - Schmid and Huckle get that. And to be able to trust them and know they trust us as pet parents to do what is best for our animals means a lot.

I have always appreciated the love and care given to our fur babies. The front end staff in Casselton demonstrate more than just administrative duties. They listen and work hard to help solve any need. You can tell they get what it means to be a pup parent and they are patient with my requests and demands. The techs and vets are very knowledgeable and patient with questions as well. Thank you all! Happy Thanksgiving.
