I adopted a kitten in September, and called Casselton Fargo right away for a check up appointment and to establish a vet that we liked/were comfortable with. I wasn’t able to get an appointment for 7 weeks, and in the meantime needed to visit a different practice to help clear up a cold that came home with her from the shelter. I kept the appointment at Casselton for a general check up, and I’m so glad I did! We were very happy with the service, and the time and attention the vet tech took to visit with us curbside. We will continue to work with Casselton moving forward! Thank you!

I thought it was strange I didn’t get to talk to the actual Vet and only the assistants. I had questions and they had to keep being relayed, I paid to see a Vet and my pet can’t communicate so it would be nice to actually talk to them or be charged less.

It was recommended that our dog have surgery which we agreed with but we can t get a surgical appointment for nearly 2 months. Not sure our dog will be able to wait that long so we were disappointed with that and are searching for other providers that can offer surgery sooner.

Cannot comment on the facility as the doors are closed to owners. I believe the wait times are longer than previously because the vet techs are running all over the parking lot.

It was difficult to get through on the phone to notify you of our arrival for the appointment. Maybe a link can be created on the website so your clients can pre register and or note their arrival for the appointment. Or use a code system to verify arrival for appointments on the phone. A auto generated email with a 4 digit code is emailed to the client 24-48 hrs before the appointment. Client calls and enters that code, it notifies the staff and the client can do preregistration thru a link in that email

I loved my experience except for my dog was left alone inside and was able to chew through his leash (which is an expensive retractable one) and then chewed through another that the vet had. I don t believe they should be left alone, or at least take the leash off. I wish they offered to replace it as that is my only one. I know this doesn t happen when I m allowed in for his appointment and I m with him. I m hoping you change your policy on letting owners in with their pet by wearing masks and other precautions soon. Thanks!

Not sure why the facility is doing what it s doing since we live in North Dakota not Minnesota. We didn t realize that we were going to have to stay in the car instead of going inside and waiting. it was not convenient at all. I would hope that the facility is nice and clean since nobody can go in there. Not a pleasant experience at all. We asked from the beginning about getting a couple extra items from the store there and she forgot so we had to remind her again. If people wear mask inside and stay in a certain area there should be no problem for us to come inside the facility. Crazy times.

When I made the appointment, I advised of 4 reasons in detail. When I rescheduled, I advised of the 4 items again. When I got there, those 4 items were retold as they had not been captured. Efficiency and customer impact. And for getting in, I wanted a specific vet.

After I had established care with Casselton, it was very easy to get seen. The staff was great to find something in my work schedule. Also the boarding side was GREAT with my cat. Their daily report cards made me smile every day.

I was shocked by the price of the office visit- $64. The cost of meds was also very high. To spend $200 for a pet with paw infection is ridiculous to me. I will see if there are cheaper options in Fargo. If not, then no more pet visits. I can’t afford them.
