I normally see Dr Peterson. Since my dog was coughing, we did an Urgent visit and saw someone else. After the X-rays, she showed them to me and said, ‘we’ll do antibiotics and another X-ray in 3 weeks. Either these gray areas are infection and the antibiotics will help, or it’s lung cancer.’ My dog is 14, but she is honestly everything to me. That wasn’t how you tell someone that.

Feel very confident that the care received from Dr. Bartholomay will be always be excellent and as usual was during our last appointment....he never misses anything when examining my goldens. I was very impressed at how well everyone works together at the clinic. Dr. Peterson is an awesome vet. I appreciate his level of expertise and wealth of knowledge and how calm and patient he is with animals and people despite how busy the clinic is. He’s does a good job listening and answering questions. I’m very happy with the service I received during my appointment.

My appointment was at 4:30 I got there at 4:20. I ended up sitting there with my cat for over and hour until I was even called back with him. It was very stressful.

Casselton Vet has went from making you feel like your animal is important to now becoming a number. It s very difficult to get in and you have discontinued your emergency after hours service (I don t hope to ever have to use emergency services, but have in the past). Knowing that your pet s normal doctor was there to take care of them and make them comfortable was a big deal. Now you send everyone to Fargo where they re so busy that it s almost impossible to get in for emergencies. I had to use it because Casselton no longer offers this service. They wanted to immediately perform surgery on my dog that was not needed. My family has gone to Casselton Vet for over 15 years. You have lost our business for two of our animals. If Casselton didn t have Dr. Schmid on staff I would no longer attempt to come there anymore. I m sad that it seems Casselton Vet only cares about the money anymore.

I have cleaned for a living for almost 30yrs & no place I don t clean seems to be clean to me satisfaction. Stores, etc. so don t think as a 2 star rate as bad.

Great staff provided excellent care to my dog after an accident at daycare. Thankfully the staff worked him into the schedule and I was able to return to work for a few hours. I would definitely recommend Casselton to others!

It took multiple months to get us in.. Signs said masks required but the front desk lady at the north door didn t have hers over her nose and pulled it down a lot to talk.
