We dropped our dog off to be spayed and felt the drop off procedure was very rushed as nothing was explained during that time. She had not gone into surgery until 4pm which we were never told she would be waiting all day. When we picked her up it appeared that she had not been taken outside for a long period of time or given water. We were not very impressed with the lack of communication throughout the process.

After months of phone calls during visits when the lobby was closed I was finally able to meet Dr. Dowdle and thank her for all the care she’s provided for our Ruby. She takes time for my questions and is truly wonderful to work with. The LVT Melanie was also just the kindest and caring. While waiting for meds and to pay, LVT Michele came out, greeted me by name (after not seeing her for months) and spent some time catching up. She is such an asset to the team - seriously top notch and someone I would just want to be friends with lol! We have been coming to Casselton Veterinary Service for probably close to 30 years. We absolutely love all the techs, front desk ladies, and the doctors are all so compassionate. We ve received only the best care and plan to continue for many more years!

This was my first visit with a vet and the whole appointment was disappointing. It felted rushed. I asked specifically for written details on how to care for my dog s skin issues and was sent home with no instructions. When asked the vet a question, the response was that s not my area of specialty and have you searched the internet . If I wanted to do my own research, I wouldn t have to pay to see a vet. The front desk women seemed clueless about basic product information like the cost of an ear solution that the technician used. The whole experience left me wondering if this is the right place for my pets.

I was really disappointed the doctor did not look inside, my dogs ears during their wellness exam, especially my spaniels ears. I didn’t think the doctor did a very thorough exam, especially for the amount they cost. I was also disappointed to learn that you do not carry some of the new flea/tick/heart worm med combos, and I would have to do this whole rig a ma row ordering it through you and having it shipped to you. It would just be easier and more customer friendly if you carried more of a variety of meds or ordered the meds for the clients.

The stars were confusing,silver or gold? Do four siver stars represent agreed or what? Staff is friendly. The costs are extremely high. I don t think I will be able to continue taking my dog to this clinic

Never get to see a vet. Cant get questions answered. Had to wait two weeks for appointment then told can’t see vet until another appointment five weeks later. Fed up with paying premium prices and only getting to see a tech.

Love this vet place!! I’m a returning customer from out at Casselton with my old dog. So glad they are in Fargo now to.

Dr Dawdle, is excellent! She is so kind, patient, and thorough.

I adopted Bentley and had lots of questions about his health and felt the doctor had zero time for me I would ask questions and she was rushing out of the room I don’t feel he had a good wellness exam no blood pressure was taken it was literally 5 min. She said he had harsh lung sounds and didn’t explain anything more. Said he’s under is weight put him on puppy food and out the door she went.

I really like that I was able to take home the second bordetella shot so that I did not have to come back for another visit so soon!! Really nice and pleasant staff!

We really used to enjoy our experiences, and felt that our pets were well taken care of. After a year of not being allowed in the facility and/or room with our pets when bringing them in, combined with increasing difficulty in making appointments (even emergency appointments), and finally overall unfriendly and dismissive service by staff, we will no longer be using you for our veterinary services.

The grooming dept needs to be educated on what shots a dog needs.. I left being told that one of my dogs needs a booster and they wouldn t be able to take her in May. I booked a trip to Florida so it is a huge inconvience.

When I called about my.pup crying in pain and being lethargic, not using the bathroom, I was told it was his appetite. Within 2-3 hrs, my daschund was paralyzed. Two days later euthanized as he was in severe pain:(

The Techs and Reception staff are fantastic. Dr. Ulmer is always very helpful. Great vet. I would never take my dog anywhere else.
